We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by law. If you would like a receipt for your donation, we are happy to send one to you. When you support CWFA, you are supporting this site, JustUsFriends.org, and our flagship publication, "Dharma Friends." DharmaFriends newsletter goes out monthly and is free to prisoners everywhere. You may view each month's Dharma Friends newsletter online or receive your own free issue via email just by signing up.

All of us in the communities of JustUsFriends.org and Dharma Friends have the capacity to offer healing and support to each other. We recognize that it is compassion, without discrimination, that is the primary healer of all of us and of society. We want compassion available to every being everywhere.

Our few staff people at CWFA work conscientiously and meticulously to make prudent decisions on how best to allocate your donated funds. Throughout our twenty-year history, most of those who have enabled our efforts are enthusiastic volunteers who have generously offered their time and resources.

 Your donation allows us to:

*Print and mail the monthly Dharma Friends newsletter to over 3000 inmates in prisons around the country.
*Mail books to inmates who request spiritual and self-help resources.
*Offer programs and teachings to educate all of us about the issues that lead our children to lives in prison and to the problems that are tragically present in our criminal justice system.
*Run our JustUsFriends.org web site and build our repository of helpful, insightful, and healing videos.
*Conduct meditation groups, send letters and provide emotional support to those in prisons and out.
*Help undersupported spiritual traditions in prisons when there are special events.
